In the Embrace of the Ocean: Sunset Cliffs Nature Walk
Details
An invitation to soften into stillness, to be held by something vast, and to listen beneath the surface of sound.
Join us for a slow and spacious walk along Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, where the horizon stretches wide and the ocean opens before us in endless motion and depth.
Here, at the meeting place of land and sea, we are reminded of immensity—not as something overwhelming, but as something that holds us.
The steady rhythm of waves, the salt-laced air, the sweeping sky… all of it offering perspective, humility, and quiet belonging.
We’ll begin with a gentle breath practice and a moment of gratitude, grounding ourselves in the presence of the land beneath our feet and the waters before us. You’re welcome to bring a small offering—a shell, a stone, a flower—to place with intention and respect.
Moving mostly in silence, we’ll walk slowly along the cliffs, allowing the vastness to meet us. We’ll notice the pull of the tide, the cry of seabirds, the warmth of sun or brush of wind against our skin.
With each step, we’ll practice listening—not only to the ocean’s voice, but to what stirs quietly within.
Along the way, we’ll pause to rest in simple presence. To feel what it is to be small and infinite at once. To sense what the ocean offers when we allow ourselves to receive: spaciousness, clarity, surrender, renewal.
Midway, we’ll gather in quiet reflection with the sea as our witness. You’re invited to share what arises or simply remain in the shared stillness.
On our return, we’ll gently open into conversation and connection, carrying the imprint of vastness back with us.
Please bring water, sun protection, layers for coastal breeze, and a willingness to slow down.
We look forward to walking with you. 🌊✨
