Join us at the Point Loma Native Plant Garden for a gentle gathering of pine needle basket weaving and nature connection—an invitation to slow down, notice, and deepen our relationship with the land that holds us.

A month ago, we gathered in this garden to connect with the plants, birds, and rhythms of the land.

Returning to the same place invites us to notice change.

As our connection with this garden continues to unfold, so does our weaving practice.

Gathering beneath the trees, we'll continue exploring the ancestral art of pine needle basket weaving. Working with fallen pine needles gathered with care from the land, we'll weave stitch by stitch, breath by breath.

We’ll begin with a simple land offering and grounding practice, arriving with gratitude and attention.

Inspired by the practice of nature bathing, this gathering is an invitation to soften the nervous system, engage the senses, and reconnect with ourselves, the land, and one another.

Whether you are continuing a basket or joining for the first time, you are warmly welcome.

Bring anything that helps you feel comfortable—perhaps water, a blanket, cushion, hat, or journal.

We look forward to gathering and weaving with you. 🌿

*** This gathering is offered in the spirit of reciprocity with a suggested contribution of $10 or whatever feels supportive and accessible for you. Materials will be provided. ***
