Discovering Buddhism Class (FREE, READ DESCRIPTION)

Join us to learn the basic principles of the Mahayana Buddhist Tradition (originally from Tibet and the tradition practiced by the current Dali Lama), including:

* history of Shakyamuni Buddha and the essence of his teachings
* explanation of different Buddhist traditions
* spiritual teachers and their titles
* ways to practice Buddhism
* how to set up a Buddhist altar
We will also participate in a guided meditation with chanting and mantra recitation.
