Litha Summer Solstice Celebration

We celebrate the longest day of the year with a celebration of our connection to each other, our gifts and light. The celebration begins with a pot luck picnic feast so we can get to know each other while “breaking bread”. After we feast, our ritual will continue our connections as we honor each other’s magical gifts, and offerings. First, Priestess Dev will cleanse, ground and prepare each participant for ritual, then cast the circle and call in the directions. Then, each person will have the opportunity to participate in the ritual by offering a 5 minute (or less) reading, energetic or physical gift for the circle. Your offering can be anything from an invocation, magickal spell, oracle, tarot or energy reading, a tangible gift, or inspirational presentation. We will raise energy with drumming and rhythm then close circle with cakes and ale- a vegan gluten free treat and mead or a non-alcohol beverage (provided)
BRING-
A healthy, preferably organic dish to share, or BYO dinner
A blanket, mat or chair to sit on for the picnic
Something to share ritually, 5 minutes or less (an invocation, energy offering, a reading, or physical gift etc.)

5:00-6:00- Pot Luck Picnic
6:00-6:30- Transition from feasting to ritual & arrival for ritual only
6:30-8:00- Litha Ritual
8:00-8:30- Clean Up. Many hands make light work
No late arrival to ritual. Please arrive by 6:30
