Seratones Choir Second Rehearsal
Details
The San Diego Seratones Choir was formed in 2014 by director Dr. Momilani Ramstrum. She created the group as a place where vocalists of all levels come together in a supportive community, singing music in 2, 3, and 4 part harmony in many languages from around the world (world, folk, classical, jazz standards, hymns, gospel, and sea shanties).
We meet every Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM in the Continuing Education Building at Mesa College, 7350 Armstrong Place, San Diego, CA 92111, Room 118. It's free.
This class is offered through the SDCCD Continuing Ed, Emeritus program. The new semester starts on January 27. No cost, no auditions.
To be in the class you need to register and enroll at sdcce.edu. And you now also need a permission number from me. Start the registration and enrollment process. Email me directly for a permission number and show up on Tuesday!
Dr. Ramstrum believes that singing benefits us on so many levels (immune function, physiological improvements, quality of life, stress reduction, breathing strength, and brain adaptability - neuroplasticity) and that we all can sing for our entire life!
The Seratones Choir is offered as a Continuing Education class in the San Diego Community College District, Emeritus Program. A new semester begins January 27, 2026 and if you love to sing, you are welcome to join the group. There are no auditions and no cost! The ability to read music is helpful but not needed, as recordings are provided for all music.
