What we’re about
*Any 50+ ladykins looking for a Shabbat dinner, please reach out to me and I'll put you in touch with One Table. There are different groups and dinners for you to enjoy!*
In traditional Jewish households, Proverbs 31, or "Eshet Chayil" is traditionally recited or sung on Friday night. Often translated as "a woman of valor", eshet chayil can also be translated as "warrior" or "female warrior". Let's use 2025 to meet some fellow Jewish warrior queens! In honor Dinner is alcohol-free and catered by Flavors of East Africa (so, not kosher meat but reach out to be if you need a kosher meal and we'll hook you up).
There will be a welcoming NA cocktail for everyone, followed by user-friendly traditional Friday night rituals like kiddush, motzi and handwashing as well as a short meditation to bring our Shabbat in on an intentional note. Dinner is transwoman and nonbinary inclusive.
Dinner is subsidized by One Table, which seeks to bring together Jews in their 20's and 30's. If you are in a different season of life, please let me know and I can hook you up with a One Table representative who will tell you about programming they have for different age groups.
Please RSVP here AND at the OneTable link below, One Table is a great organization who are subsidizing the event to keep it free for everyone.
