Join us for a fun afternoon of socializing learning and exploring in Balboa Park. We have a fun themed scavenger hunt planned plus a picnic party. Come alone or with friends either way it willl be a day to remember!
The Story:
The San Diego Zoo's giant Pandas Xin Bao and Yun Chuan have escaped and have been spotted in Balboa Park! We'll send teams of people out to find them with this fun scavenger hunt where you will trace the paths that the Pandas took while learning things about the park that you may have never known!
How It Works:

• Registration is at 11am sharp.
• You will be randomly be put on teams if you do not have one.
• Each team will be given a set of clues that they need to follow to solve the mystery of where the Panda's are.
• Each team will have 75 minutes to find as many clues as they can.
• The team with the most points wins.
• Following the hunt the group will meet at a location in the park for a fun and casual picnic party with more fun and games..

Cost $25 Includes Hunt and donation to the Balboa Park Endownment Fund
What to bring: Bring items for the picnic. We'll have a cooler for your beverages and a space to keep any food you brought while you are on the hunt.
What Kinds Of Things Will We Be Looking For?
You will be looking for things that are already park of the park (historical markers, signs, buildings, shops, trees, monuments, etc) You will also need to take photo's, bring things back and do some Google searches.
What Part Of The Park Will This Take Place In?
The hunt will be in The Historic District only.
Can I Come Alone?
Yes 98% of the attendees will likely be coming on their own.
Dress Code:
Casual and comfortable. Wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather.
