A chill meetup for dads to share laughs, tips, and stories about raising awesome daughters. All welcome, but must be ages 21+
Welcome to Dads of Daughters!
Hey there, awesome dads! Join us for a super chill in-person hangout where you can connect, share stories, and celebrate the special bond with your daughters. It’s all about fun, support, and learning from each other in a laid-back setting. Future dads also welcome! Event sponsored by the San Diego Social Network.
Come along, meet some cool dads, and enjoy a great time together. Don’t miss out on this fantastic chance to bond and make new friends!
Who is this event for? Dads of daughters of all ages, Guys (without children) curious about fatherhood, and maybe a few adult daughters crashing the party. All guests over the age of 21 welcome!
During the Event : Upon arrival, check in with host, head over to the counter to order a drink and food, then start the evening with with a social mixer game and write down your anonymous questions for the group. There will be a box for dads (and daughters) to submit anonymous questions, comments, and advice requests for navigating the Father-daughter relationship at different stages of life.
Is this group therapy? Not exactly. It's just real talk from real guys (and maybe a few adult daughters sprinkled in).
During the evening your host will facilitate the discussion as the group workshops through each question and role play solutions. The only criteria is that questions, comments, and requests for advice must be suitable to be read out loud among polite company. Your host may exercise discretion and will facilitate the conversation to be both light-hearted and grounded. Lets keep the vibes positive.
*Guests who registered at least one week in advance, will also have the option of emailing their anonymous question ahead of time.
*cost of food not included with the meal. Guests can order individually and/or pitch in together to order a whole pie or two to share.

Parking: Free parking available around town, but arrive early to find parking.
Ages: 21+
Parking & Transportation:
Free parking street parking available, but you may need to hunt for it. Arrive early.
METERS: Parking meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., $1.50 per hour for all meters, including the Lemon Avenue Municipal Parking Lot which uses a QR code-based permit system.
