Shelter Island / Harbor Skate (advanced +)

This scenic route is intended for advanced inline skaters and up only. The pace will be brisk with minimal stops. The surface is mainly asphalt after leaving Liberty Station. Sidewalks and bike lanes are available. Mostly flat with the exception of one bridge on N. Harbor Dr. and the pedestrian bridge in Liberty Station. A few gradual hills too, but nothing major. Knowing how to descend in a safe manner is required.
