What we’re about

A laid-back social space for women using needle crafts as an ice breaker. We get together once or twice a month at parks, coffee shops, cafes - maybe even some breweries or taverns for snacks and drinks and to knit/crochet/embroider/cross-stitch/amigurumi/felt/etc.

We get to know each other and talk about whatever is on our minds: books, movies, tv shows, upcoming events, life, crafts, family, friends and much more. Needle crafts are a great way to feel creative and accomplished and also a way to meet other wonderful women. We also find these craft are a great way to meditate and do self-care. Once annually, we create gifts to donate to hospitals or shelters.

We strive to be a safe and accepting group for women of every color, creed, age, walk-of-life, experience level, profession, relationship status, etc. We are BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ welcoming. Our goal is to form a community and friendships based upon creativity and conversation. If you don't have any experience with needle crafts - come anyway and we would be glad to teach you! If you need project ideas or inspiration, we have plenty of that too - from traditional to modern to quirky to practical.

We can't wait to meet you!
