SAN DIEGO COUNTY FAIR

Join us for the annual Stitch & Bitch outing to the San Diego County Fair!

We will start off together to explore the Homemade Pavilion and see all the fiber crafts on display. After that, folks can choose to wander off on their own or continue exploring the rest of the exhibits (and the rides, and the food) as a group.

I've found that the best way to get to the fair is to park at Canyon Crest Academy (free!) and take the shuttle bus (also free!) to the fairgrounds. I plan to get to the academy by 10 AM, and take the first shuttle in order to get into the ticket holders line early and enter when the fair opens at 11. I will wait outside the Homemade Pavilion once I'm in, so if your're not on the shuttle with me, just come and find me there some time between 11 and 11:15 or so.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the fair website for $20. If you buy them the day of the event it's $25.
