The San Diego Balboa and Lindy Exchange 2025 (a.k.a. SDBLX)

SDBLX is a major 3-day event (you can attend it piecemeal, or book everything with one ticket). Each day includes a band and few hours of DJ music in addition to other things. The schedule is available at sdblx.wordpress.com/schedule/ :

• Friday dance from 9PM to 2AM to the live music of Holly Street Stompers and Nightshade Navarro
• Saturday beach dance at noon to 3PM, evening dance from 9PM to 2AM to the live music of Dave Stuckey/Hot House Gang, and Mad Hat Hucksters
• Sunday DJ music at the Hopnonomous Brewing Company between noon and 3PM, evening dance 7PM-10PM to the live music of Zzymzzy Sextet

Logistics:

• Evening dances are occurring at the Infinity Dancesport: 7243 Engineer Rd. Parking is free and easy (feel free to use any parking lot of the nearby businesses).
• The beach dance is at the Crown Point Beach, a Mission Bay destination, about 20-minute ride from Infinity Dancesport. The beach parking at noon is usually easy. The event happens close to the right (South) side of the parking lot.
• The brewery is at 7705 Convoy Ct, about a mile away from the Infinity Dance Sport

The crowd: more than 100 dancers, most with above-intermediate skills. There typically is a noticeable lack of leads, not disastrous.
