What we’re about
Our push hands practice group meets Sundays at 7:00 am and finishes at 10:00am. People show up when they can which is ok since we are not teaching a class, and they and leave when they have to, although, we have been known to stay well past 10:00am. Our focus is the study and practice of Tai Chi Push Hands, which is the practical application of the Tai Chi form, where we practice the two-person Tai Chi interaction which can be pattern push or freestyle. All levels of experience and styles are welcome. We also welcome other, non-Tai Chi styles as well. This is not a formal class so there is no formal instruction only the free exchange of ideas. The location is in Balboa Park, on the old shuffleboard courts, near the corner of Sixth Ave and Quince Dr, San Diego, CA. Bring water a hat and sunglasses if you think you will need to.
