Join us at the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park to learn about Vive Trackers, which can bring any real-world object into VR.

Marc Bailey will share his experiences using the Vive Trackers to interact with objects, control first person avatars, and building props (both passive and active).

In the talk we’ll go over Vive tracker setup in Unity, device attachment, game development and a variety of use cases. Marc is an indie developer (SolidEarthVR) working on experiential learning VR games for kids.

Come out and meet fellow VR developers and enthusiasts. We'll share stories, have technical discussions and learn about the latest VR news. We welcome any and all levels of knowledge and involvement in VR.

Please note - we are meeting after the close of exhibits for the Science Center. If you would like to view the Game Masters exhibit, with 100+ playable video games, please arrive early. (meetup is free, exhibit requires admission)
