Wild Women, Wine & Words: Book Club
Calling all wild-hearted women with a love for books, wine, writing (journaling), and a magical connection!
Wild Women, Wine & Words is a San Diego-based book club and writing group designed with women in their 30s to 50s in mind—but all ages are welcome if the vibe resonates.
This is an in-person group first and foremost. While our first meetup will be on Zoom, members are expected to attend our monthly in-person gatherings in San Diego. These live meetups are the heart of our community.
✨ Think Sex and the City meets Women Who Run With the Wolves—literary sparks, meaningful connection, and plenty of wine.
🌝 As a bonus, we’ll also offer monthly Full Moon Zooms—virtual writing circles and reflection sessions for those who want to stay connected between in-person events.
📚 Book, Essays & Poetry Discussions: We’ll read inspiring works like Women Who Run With the Wolves, the Wild Women Anthology, and powerful passages by poets like Nikita Gill, Rupi Kaur, Anaïs Nin, and more.
🍷 Wine & Brunch Meetups (San Diego): Once a month, we’ll meet in person to share stories, sip something lovely, and dive into a creative prompt or passage. These gatherings are where the magic lives.
🖋️ Writing & Sharing: You’ll enjoy fun, low-pressure writing prompts and journaling activities, with the option to share your words in a supportive and inspiring space.
🌟 Goddess Tribe Energy: This is a space for authentic, creative women who love storytelling, self-expression, and connecting with women of wisdom.
🌕 First Meetup: Zoom Kickoff!
We’ll gather virtually on Tuesday, July 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. under the Full Moon for our very first meetup.
We’ll read a passage from Wild Women Anthology and Women Who Run With the Wolves, do some light journaling reflections, and share laughter—maybe even a little howling at the moon (because why not?).
We’ll also vote on the date and location of our first in-person gathering and set the tone for the magical months ahead.
