In an Awareness Through Movement lesson, we explore the mind-body connection and improve our coordination, movement patterns, posture, balance and breathing by learning to sense what is easy for our body to do instead of forcing it into submission. We believe in learning in comfort and continuous improvement. The subtlest sensations discovered in a lesson can evolve into powerful changes in your life!

A typical lesson consists of frequent body scans and structured mindful movement explorations. Most movements are done lying on the floor. Please use a mat that you can comfortably lie on, wear loose street clothes that do not restrict movement, and log-in 5 minutes before class.
