(Canceled) Tilden Park Nimitz Trail Hike, East Bay

Last week we were rained out of this event. We will try again.

Re Covid-19, my view is that if we are outdoors, separated by 2 meters, avoid handshaking and hugging and avoid sharing food we are maintaining a safe social distance. Bring your own Purell.

Join us for an eight-mile round trip hike on the Nimitz Way trail in Tilden
Regional Park, in the Berkeley hills. This is a paved trail which offers
scenic views to the west of the Golden Gate Bridge and to the east of San Pablo Reservoir and the East Bay hills. Before lunch, we will pass through a cow meadow and then have lunch at an abandoned missile site. This is a fairly level trail with some moderate grades.
