Sunday Sunrise at Golden Gate Bridge

Join us Sunday morning for a sunrise meetup at Battery Spencer, perched just north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The forecast calls for scattered clouds—ideal conditions for soft, layered light as the sun comes up over the city and the bridge. Battery Spencer is one of those rare spots where epic landscapes and human moments collide: sweeping views of the bridge and skyline, plus a steady flow of early risers welcoming the day. That makes it a great setting for both classic landscape frames and candid people/street photography.

Bring whatever camera you love—film preferred, but we’re not strict—and be ready to work fast as the color and contrast shift minute by minute. Expect crowds, wind, and that quiet buzz that only happens at sunrise.

Depending on conditions and group interest, we may wander down to Fort Baker for water-level views, head up to Hawk Hill for a higher perspective, or cross the bridge toward Battery Godfrey, possibly ending with warm beverages at the Round House Cafe.
