You're invited to an evening of kirtan (call and response devotional chanting) with Mr David & Prajna Vieira and the full band they have played with for 17 years: Mr David - Lead Vocal and Drum; Prajna Vieira - Lead Vocal and Harmonium; Don Fontowitz - Hindustani slide guitar; David Balakrishnan - Violin; Srutih Asher Colbert - Percussion (It's Srutih's bday kirtan!; Julie Simonsen, Damiana Carpizo, Lisa Chorny - Vocals.
Prajna Vieira and Mr David (David Estes) each bring together 25+ years of chanting practice and experience with professional musicianship into a dynamic duo sharing a traditional style Bhakti kirtan practice in call and response with the audience. Both trade off on lead vocals.
