2026 Angel Island Ukulele Cruise!

It's time for our annual Angel Island Ukulele Jam!! Take the ferry to Angel Island from either San Francisco or Tiburon. On Angel Island, we'll gather in one of the picnic table areas (to the right and up the hill after you get off the ferry) and we'll play music from the specially-curated Angel Island Songbook, with a break to eat. There's a snack bar at the ferry landing on the island, but people traditionally bring food or snacks to share. FERRY INFORMATION
Some of us will meet at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero near Market Street in San Francisco and catch the Ferry from Gate B to Angel Island. (There is a Senior Discount!) The Ferry Building is readily accessible by bus, streetcar, and BART; it's a little more difficult to find parking for cars. The San Francisco ferry leaves at 10:15 a.m. Please be there on time to catch that ferry because the next one doesn't leave until 2:00 p.m. The last ferry leaves from Angel Island to the ferry building at 4:50 pm. You can buy tickets at the Ferry Building, but you can also buy tickets in advance, and find more information, here:

Some people prefer to take the ferry from Tiburon, north of San Francisco, because it's more convenient for them and ferries leave every hour. The first ferry leaves at 10:00 am. For this ferry, it is best to buy your ticket ahead of time online, which you can do here:
