Ukes4Peace Outdoor Jam in Walnut Creek -Music in the Park

Ukes4Peace is a group of Bay Area ukulele clubs (including San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion) committed to the idea that "through music, played together, we can promote peace, harmony, and love and make the world a better place." The idea is that member ukulele clubs will host one or more events in their own geographic area at which members from other affiliated ukulele clubs can join to play songs of protest, hope, peace, and encouragement. Each of the events held so far this year has been very well attended.
A Ukes4Peace Outdoor Jam will be held on Wednesday, August 5, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Larkey Park, 2728 Buena Vista Ave. in Walnut Creek. Please bring your uke, a chair, a music stand, the Ukes4Peace Songbook, and a hat and sunscreen. Optional. Bring appetizers to share.
