Ukes4Peace is a group of Bay Area ukulele clubs (including San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion) committed to the idea that "through music, played together, we can promote peace, harmony, and love and make the world a better place." The idea is that member ukulele clubs will host one or more events in their own geographic area at which members from other affiliated ukulele clubs can join to play songs of protest, hope, peace, and encouragement. Each of the events held so far this year has been very well attended.

The Peninsula Ukulele Group (PUG) is hosting a Ukes4Peace Jam on Wednesday, June 24, from 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm at the San Carlos Library, 610 Elm Street, San Carlos.

PLEASE CONTACT linda@fleastreetband.com to RSVP and for more information.

Ukes4Peace is organizing primarily through Facebook as a public Facebook group. If you have a Facebook account and you would like to join the Facebook group, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1799886787341053

I'll be posting Ukes4Peace events, like this one, here on the San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion meetup site.
