Lake Del Valle Hike - Livermore
Details
Let's take advantage of this clean, spring weather and hike in the gorgeous green hills of Livermore.
We will start at the Arroyo Rd Staging area. Parking is limited.
We will hike the East Shore trail onto Heron Bay trail. This will be a 7-8 mile hike and rated as moderate. Most of trail will be on a wide road overlooking Del Valle Lake. This hike will include some uphill climbs for a great workout. There will be very little shade so be prepared. We will be walking at a 2.5 mile pace. This WILL NOT be leisure. Elevation gain: 1,430.
Post hike- we can decide if we would like to drive into downtown Livermore for a bite to eat.
*What to bring: Plenty of water, food/snacks, sunscreen, cash for driver & your adventurous spirit!
**Volunteer drivers are always appreciated.
We will wait for approx. 10 mins at Starbuck's before heading out. Please remember to take yourself off list if not attending, as to not wait for you and to not be counted as a 'NO SHOW'. It is a courtesy to your leader.
