Big Sur Camping + Hiking

THIS TRIP IS FULL !!

What an absolutely beautiful coastal area of California, just south of Carmel. Let's join together and have some fun enjoying a weekend of friendship w/ lots of movement. This will be a 3 day camp trip w/ 2 days of hiking, very close to the coastline. Does it get any better then that?

I will start w/ 9 campers & up to 3 tents per site since Big Sur does not have overflow parking. CARPOOLING is highly recommended. I will increase attendence depending on carpools. It will be your choice to stay 2 or 3 nights. I have already reserved 3 sites in Pfeiffer Weyland Campground with excellent sites near the Big Sur River. Sites #121, 123 & 124.

The plan as of now will be to hike Manuel Peak on Friday (10 miles) and Creamery Meadows (7 miles) w/ a nice rest at the beach on Saturday. Please be sure that you are prepared & ready for the challenge.

I ask that all attending join in at least one hike for this trip. Preferably both. Hikes are always subject to change due to trail conditions at time of trip.

We will begin each day w/ breakfast before we head out for our hikes. We will return to camp to chill as you wish then prepare our dinners on Thurs and Fri nights. Saturday the plan will be to go out to a late lunch as a group after our hike.

You will be responsible for your own meals. As usual....our evenings end w/ a campfire, social time and s'mores. I will provide the s'more fixins'.

-Food for 3 days
-beverages of choice
-Tent & Sleeping Supplies
-Flashlight & Lantern
-Stove (usually we have plenty if don't have)
-All supplies for cooking
-Quarters for shower tokens
-Monies for lunch/activities
-Bugspray
-Firewood if you have
-All hiking gear
-Overnight essentials

-This is an ADULT ONLY trip w/ NO GUESTS ALLOWED at this time due to limited space.

*COST- $45 PER PERSON- whether 2 or 3 nights.

Your spot will be confirmed as soon as I receive your payment and moved from waitlist to 'going'.

***PLEASE NOTE: Monies collected will not be refunded unless I can fill your spot & i am notified no later then 1 week prior to trip, since I have pre-paid for this reservation. Please be commited to your rsvp.

CARPOOLING is recommended as there is 2 spots per site and only (1) is included in paid reservation. I recommend splitting cost of second to be fair. I will check on overflow parking.
