Mt. Diablo Hike - Clayton

Day high in Clayton on this gorgeous Sunday should be 82°.
We will say good-bye to Summer with this excillarating 7-8 mile hike, that will begin at the trailhead in Clayton off Regency Rd, just below the street parking. We will be starting with the Back Creek trail, Falls trail and finishing with Donner Creek. Elevation gain around 1700 ft. This is NOT recommended for beginner hikers. This will be a moderate hike at a good 22-24 min/mil pace.
Mt Diablo is a beautiful hike with some steeper areas that will get our hearts pumping. Mt Diablo is set in the hills just N of Livermore.

We will decide who would like to gather for a late lunch in Clayton (Ed's Mudville) before we head back home. 🌿

We will be carpooling from Manteca. Volunteer drivers are needed & are always appreciated! Please compensate your drivers appropriately or at their discretion.
*We will wait for approximately 10 mins before heading to trailhead on Regency Rd in Clayton. Please be on time.
Parking is limited closest to trailhead.

*What to bring: Plenty of WATER, food/snacks, sunscreen, cash for driver/lunch & poles if you feel needed.
