Welcome to The Layered Journey Collective
The Layered Journey Collective is a creative community for people who love journaling, art journaling, sketching, mixed media, paper, travel journals, and creative play.
But more than anything, this is about connection.
I created The Layered Journey Collective because I wanted a place where creative people could come together, make something, share ideas, meet new people, and leave feeling inspired. You do not need to be an experienced artist. You don't need the perfect journal or fancy supplies. You just need a little curiosity and a willingness to create.
Our gatherings may include:
Creative journaling and art journaling
Sketching and Urban Sketching
Traveler's notebooks and memory keeping
Mixed media and paper crafting
Creative prompts and mini projects
Exploring new art and journaling supplies
Local creative outings and adventures
Special workshops and themed gatherings
Plenty of time to create, chat, laugh, and connect
Some meetups will be structured around a theme or activity, while others will simply give us time to bring our journals and supplies and create together.
Beginners are absolutely welcome.
This isn't a group where you have to worry about whether your work is "good enough." There is no right way to keep a journal, make art, or tell your story. We are here to encourage one another, exchange ideas, try new things, and enjoy the process.
