Imagine a book club, but instead of discussing a book, we’re exploring the ups and downs of life! Every meeting has a new topic.
Note: the location has changed to Campbell Library for this meeting!
Topic for this meeting: Being an Immigrant. What made you move to another country? How do you help yourself integrate into a new country and community? Is it important for you to maintain strong roots to your culture of origin, or do you prefer to fully integrate into your new home? Have your ideas of “home” and identity changed since immigrating?
Location: Small Side of the Community Room in Campbell Library. We'll start the meeting promptly, so please plan to arrive by 3:30pm!
The library entrance and the event itself are free.
Hope to see you soon!
