Jeopardy Bar League at San Pedro Square Market

That last game was a pretty interesting ride. We found ourselves at 12th place at one point, moved up to spend a lot of time in 2nd, and were in a solid 1st place coming into Final Jeopardy. Unfortunately, we learned that we were unable to change the first response we submitted to Final Jeopardy after we realized it couldn't be right, and also maybe we could have used 5 or 10 more seconds to come up with the right U.S. state. Despite losing that significant bet, we somehow still ended up in 3rd place and won a blank book.

Game starts at 7 pm. The start time for the meetup is 6:45 pm so it gives us time to gather. PLEASE NOTE: Due to an event I am hosting at the library, I will not be able to arrive as early as I usually do, and may even be a little late for the game. If another team member is able to come by 6:45 to secure a table for us, it would be appreciated. If that doesn't work out, we'll just do our best to find our place!

Please be sure to update your RSVP if you find you can't make it, as we have a limited numbers of spaces and someone else may want to take the spot. (The reason for the limit is that teams of more than six people aren't eligible to win prizes). Thanks!

Note that one person in our team will need to enter our responses on a smart phone or other connected Internet device. So if you're able to bring a capable charged-up smart phone to our group, that will be helpful! (My phone seems to be too old, and after tonight I think I'll rule out using my laptop again).

I'll try the same thing I did for the past two weeks: if there are 4 or more people on the waitlist by Sunday, I'll add a second meetup listing for the same night.
