Young Adult Artist Weekly Meetup - Finals Week VC

Hi South Bay artists! Come see us for a fun voice chat afternoon hangout next Friday! May 22nd 2pm-6pm. In honor of finals week, and in the interest of members' mental health, we will be having a virtual weekly meetup for our artist social group instead of an in-person one! It's sure to be a bunch of fun. Come to study, showcase your current creative projects, hang out, play games and chat! You can find our Discord on our website and/or when you RSVP.

What is South Bay Artists? Why are we meeting? Our group is a coalition of young, emerging, and post secondary students in the South Bay and greater Bay Area! We just began in April but have been gaining steam and have breached 80 members on discord and almost 300 Instagram followers! Musicians, digital artists, traditional artists, crafters, actors, filmmakers, hobbyists, photographers and more are welcome to join us.

We successfully connect members for group projects and have formed subgroups for filmmaking together, selling our wares at popup markets via mutual aid, storyboard development, jamming together, and more! We are offering free headshots and building mentor connections for members. We are also building a directory of members to showcase portfolios and connect members with potential clients. We have members at SJSU, West Valley College, De Anza, Mission College, UCSC, Santa Clara University, Sac State, and more! We hope to become the best group for student artists in the Bay!
