Sunset Hike and Stargazing Night at Pinnacles National Park

Hi everyone,

We're planning an exciting hike to Gear Gulch Reservoir and Caves via Moses Spring Trail in Pinnacles National Park on Saturday, July 19th, starting at 5:00 PM.

This is a very moderate, 2.6-mile out-and-back trail, and we’ll take our time enjoying the beauty around us.

After the hike, we’ll hang out by the reservoir until sunset (around 8:25 PM), and then head over to the Peaks View Picnic Area for stargazing under the open sky.

🌙 Moonrise is at 12:55 AM, so we'll have plenty of time to enjoy the stars. Bring a sheet or blanket to lie down on the dry riverbed and soak in the night sky. We’re also planning to capture some amazing night photography and share meaningful conversations throughout the evening.

🥪 Please bring your own food and water. Everyone is welcome to share snacks, stories, and good vibes!
