Writer's Block

If you're joining us for the first time: You don't need to do anything to prepare! However, if you'd like to submit a piece for feedback, please contact the organizers for instructions.

We run a variety of different types of in person sessions, depending on what the group members are currently needing. We're open to new ideas too!

Submission Review
We review pieces members have submitted for review. We discuss and give feedback on their work. This is our most common session type. Submissions are generally reviewed in the order they were submitted.

Silent Scribing
Bring your writing implement of choice and get some writing done. We will chat a little, set a timer for some quiet writing time, and repeat.

Prompt
In advance, we will give everyone a writing prompt. Everyone will write a short piece based upon it and share.

Workshop
We will do some sort of in person workshop or writing exercise.
