Come celebrate the Japanese Obon Festival and culture this coming Sunday at Our Global Family Farm. The Japanese Obon festival, also known as the Festival of the Dead, is a Buddhist custom honoring the spirits of ancestors. It is a time when it is believed that ancestral spirits return to their families for a few days. Obon is celebrated with various traditions, including cleaning ancestral graves, offering food and flowers, and floating lanterns down rivers to guide spirits.

We have monthly multicultural potlucks to honor cultural diversity. The potluck is at 1pm. We prefer vegetarian food options. We are located at City Farm SLO.
