Bishop Peak & Cerro San Luis Obispo: Hike, Climb & Explore
Details
Hike two of San Luis Obispo's most prominent and beautiful peaks in one trip, starting at Lemon Grove Loop Trailhead, then ascending Cerro San Luis Obispo. From the summit, descend to Luneta Dr using the Rock Garden Trail, then La Entrada Ave to Highland Dr Trailhead, and summit Bishop Peak. On Bishop Peak, we would climb and explore the boulder field, have lunch while enjoying the best panoramic views of San Luis Obispo and Los Osos Valley. After that, we would backtrack to Lemon Grove Loop Trailhead. A stretch of this route travels through residential areas. I expect this hike to be fun, exciting, and a great workout.
