Rolling into Morro Bay: Tuesday Afternoon Bocce

Details

Curious about Bocce Ball? Or already hooked on the game?
Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player, come roll with us as we bring the joy of Italian-style bocce to beautiful Morro Bay for the 2nd first time! This time a Tuesday...Questa volta un martedì.

Why This Meetup is Special:
This isn’t just any game day—it’s our 2nd bocce gathering in Morro Bay! We are in experiment mode - discovering if there is a "best" day and time for a regular gathering, which also means "are there the players?"
It’s part of our broader effort to experience and support bocce ball all across SLO County as we continue dreaming into more courts, more towns, more connections.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Friendly games (no experience necessary—we’ll teach you!)
  • A chance to try out Morro Bay’s courts
  • Fresh ocean air and fresh conversations

Bocce is an ancient Roman game, still beloved across Italy, played on a long, smooth court. The goal? Get your team's balls closest to the small target ball (the pallino). It's simple, social, and easy to pick up—perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Let’s roll, relax, and connect.
This is more than a game. It’s a way to meet neighbors, make friends, and celebrate Italian culture, one gentle toss at a time.

We can’t wait to roll with you by the bay!
