Something beautiful is happening in Paso Robles.
And sometimes we only discover it because someone says:
👉 “Have you ever been to....(fill in the blank)?"
This gathering began exactly that way.
One of our SLOC Friends of Italy members recently brought Le Vigne Winery to my attention — and at first I "thought" they were on my spreadsheet. They weren't. I was genuinely surprised I hadn’t yet discovered and included them in our growing exploration of Italian-rooted wineries and gathering places across Paso Robles and the Central Coast.

I started discovery....and the more I learned, the more curious I became.
Family-rooted.
Internationally recognized.
Italian-owned.
Carrying both Paso character and Italian sensibility.

Le Vigne recently received extraordinary recognition at the International London Wine Competition, including:
🍷 Winery of the Year U.S.A.
🍷 Wine of the Year U.S.A.
🍷 multiple Gold Medals
And yet… what drew me most wasn’t the awards.

It was the feeling that this may be one of those places where:
✨ conversation lingers
✨ hospitality matters
✨ wine gathers people
✨ and life slows down enough to savor it

Their wines include Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Nero d’Avola, Primitivo, and Corvina — woven naturally into a broader Paso Robles estate story shaped by stewardship, hospitality, and conviviality.

Le Vigne currently offers a Classic Tasting for $20 (waived with a 2-bottle purchase), with an optional cheese pairing add-on available as well.

This is not a formal wine education afternoon.
It’s an invitation into discovery together.
We’ll gather Wednesday afternoon in Paso wine country to taste, connect, slow down a bit, and experience another expression of what Italian living can look like right here on the Central Coast.
