First Day Hike in River Recharge Natural Area & Adjoining Neighborhood

Join us for a 2.5-3 mile hike in San Marcos' RIVER RECHARGE NATURAL AREA (RRNA) and adjoining neighborhood.
We hike at a moderate pace of about 3 miles an hour.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
The Park is located at the intersection of Lisa Lane and the dead end of N Bishop--just past Franklin Square Park.
***Experienced hikers: This and all other trails in San Marcos may seem easy.
***Novice hikers & those new to here: Many San Marcos trails are extremely rocky. There are often elevation changes of 50 to 150 feet.
