Join us for a 4.5-5.5 mile hike in San Marcos' UPPER PURGATORY Greenbelt & for tacos and conversation after!

Meet at the Upper Purgatory Trailhead
We hike at a moderate pace of about 3 miles an hour.

If you have problems with balance or need to walk slowly, this particular hike may not be for you. However, we encourage you to join us for our regular city and neighborhood walks.

Experienced hikers: This and all other trails in San Marcos are may seem easy.
Novice hikers & those new to here: Many San Marcos trails are extremely rocky. There are often elevation changes of 50 to 150 feet.
