Lets spend a few days exploring 2 of the wonders of Texas - Palo Duro Canyon SP and Caprock Canyons SP!

This will be limited to 12 attendees. There will be a $5 fee to attend - once I receive your payment via Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle at 210 843-1667 you will be moved to 'going'.

Trip Plan:
Thurs 13 Nov: 6am Drive to PD, arrive around 4pm - settle in, eat and enjoy a sunset hike
Fri 14 Nov: hike at Palo Duro SP
Sat 15 Nov: hike at Caprock Canyons SP
Sun 16 Nov: hike at Palo Duro SP
Mon 17 Nov: Sunrise hike at Palo Duro SP and head home
I will be updating this with a more detailed hike plan.
Most of the hikes will be moderate to strenuous.

We can coordinate carpooling. You are responsible for arranging your own lodging and meals.
There are a few restaurants in Canyon but since it is a 1.5 hour drive from the park I'm only planning on doing this Saturday after the Caprock Canyons hike.

Campsites run from $12/night for primitive to $26/night for electricity
Plus the $8 daily entrance fee to the park unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass. There is also a 50% discount on your 2nd night of camping with the parks pass.
