Government Canyon SP Protected Area Hike

We will meet at the visitor center in front of the park store.
Please allow extra travel time for check in at the park entrance.

The fee is $6 if you do not have a State Parks Pass

This will be a MODERATELY paced hike (around 3miles/hr) for about 13 miles.

We will be heading into the protected area of the park that is only open Sept - Feb.

We will stop for a lunch break, so pack a snack!

This is NOT a beginner hike, there is some rough and sometimes slippery terrain.

Please bring enough water for a 6 hour hike!!
