Contributor Day - WordCamp

Come join us for Contributor Day! This is a great opportunity to learn about giving back to the WordPress Community. If you're a total beginner or more advanced, there's a way to get involved. We'll have pizza and drinks available.

Please be sure to RSVP because we are limited on space and want to be sure to have enough food! We are allowing up to 40 attendees to this event.

Is Prior Knowledge of WordPress Necessary?
Helping in support doesn’t require a lot of PHP experienced, but knowledge that you’ll find helpful for working in support is:

• Knowing something about how WordPress works from a user’s perspective

• Knowing a few basic concepts such as actions and filters

• An understanding of the basics of CSS An understanding of testing and debugging

• A patient attitude: Remember that it’s not easy for people to ask for help
