A Dog Walk Beginning at Coyote Dog Park - Located at 1604 & I-10

Details

We will begin at one of largest and most beautiful dog parks in San Antonio, Coyote Dog Park. (Owned and operated by the San Antonio Spurs).

The walk will start from the dog park, go to the Leon Creek Greenbelt for a very short period of time, and then go to the new La Cantera area, and to the Shops at La Cantera. During the walk you will see the Spurs new training facility, and all of the urban walkways which have been built around it. You may also see a Longhorn cow, who we saw on the last walk!

Event Statistics

Distance: 2 miles
Time: 1.0 hours
Temperature: High 70s

Event Notes

1. Please bring water and a six foot or shorter leash
2. If the parking lot next to the dog park is full (I don't anticipate this happening), there is a huge parking lot a bit further down Old Fredericksburg Road, on the left. It requires a short walk to the dog park, but it is not too bad.
3. There is the option of going to the dog park only, just doing the walk, or doing both. If you are not sure about your dog's aggressiveness in a dog park, don't bring them in. We want everyone to be safe.
4. I will have Nature Hound T-shirts available at this event.

We look forward to seeing everyone!
