Public speaking can actually be fun!
Sand and Sea Speakers Toastmasters in Santa Monica will help you to develop your speaking skills in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere.
The Toastmasters philosophy is basic: learn by doing. But Toastmasters is a lot more than just prepared speeches. In addition to learning how to organize and deliver a prepared speech, you will learn how to speak on your feet, provide positive feedback, run a meeting, and hone your leadership skills.
Sand and Sea members are all ages, and come from widely different backgrounds. Our meetings usually have about 25 attendees. Guests are always welcome. There is no fee to visit, and no pressure to join. Sand and Sea meets every Monday night from 7 to 9 PM.
Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished speaker, whether your goal is to get over a fear of public speaking, to improve your business presentation skills, or simply to practice a speech for an upcoming event, visit us and see how we are working toward our public speaking and leadership goals – and having a lot of fun at the same time.
