Hike at Blues Creek Ravine Preserve

Join the Sandhill Chapter of the Florida Trail Association members for a 2.5-mile loop hike at Blues Creek Ravine Preserve!
Note::Hike will be cancelled if rain is in forecast.

Be ready to walk at 5:30 PM. Arrive at 5:15 PM to sign in.
Description: This will be a relaxed~2.5-mile loop hike. We may increase this to ~3.5 miles if the group agrees, by repeating the back loop.

Directions:In Gainesville- Head west from NW 43rd St on NW 53rd Ave, Millhopper Road, to NW 71st ST. Right turn only on NW 71 St and after crossing the creek, park along the grassy shoulder on the left side of the road. We will
meet there which intersects NW 69th Ave, an unpaved road leading to the Ravine entrance, less than ~1/4 mile ahead.
General Information: Dress to comfort and bring water/snacks per preference. Hat. Bug spray is recommended. Prepare for a walk in the woods. This will be a brisk quiet talk walk.
Bathrooms: No
Dogs allowed: If well behaved and on short leash,held by owner
