4th of July Celebration in the City of Alachua,FL

FTA Activity: City of Alachua Annual Fourth of July Celebration: Happy Birthday USA!
Location: Meet at Hitchcock (15560 NW Hwy 441 Alachua, FL32615) parking lot, near NW 144 Way street side of shopping center, at 7 PM
Let’s gather to celebrate July 4th! ----- We will walk ~1.5 miles to Legacy Park Amphitheater**,** 154 Peggy Rd, Alachua, FL with our chairs and picnic, find a spot under a tree, have our picnic listening to patriotic music and have a “share our heritage and national background” conversation, then at ~9:30 PM the spectacular -”Largest Small-town Fireworks Display in AMERICA”. Then walk back to our vehicles with hopefully, an increased sense of connection and patriotic afterglow!*
Bring a picnic of choice, folding chair and/or blanket to sit on the lawn, socializing and watching the sunset turn into night skies, listening to music . Headlight or flashlight advised. Dress to your comfort. Bug spray per personal preference. Fireworks commence with night skies, ~ 9:30ish.
Bathrooms: Yes, port a pot on location
Dogs allowed: NO. Fireworks are not kind to their ears…
