Description: Lovely native setting for a walk through Florida's vegetation while staying on a well-maintained walking trail. Beautiful view from the Withlacoochee bridge
This will be a 3.3 mile hike on the Dunnellon Trail.
We will hike from the Dunnellon Trailhead CR 39 to Blue Run in Dunnellon Park, then back to Dunnellon Trailhead CR 39.

Optional: Breakfast after hike at Front Porch Restaurant - 12039 N Florida Ave, Dunnellon

Directions: From Ocala, drive from FL-200 or SW Hwy 484 to Dunnellon. Turn left on US-41 and follow for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto W Withlacoochee Trail (Route 39) then first left into Dunnellon Trailhead CR 39 (1239 W Withlacoochee Trail, Citrus Springs).

From Gainesville, take Williston Rd and FL-121 S to N Main St in Williston. Follow US-41 S to and thru Dunnellon then turn left on W. Withlacoochee Trail (Route 39) then first left into Dunnellon Trailhead CR 39 (1239 W Withlacoochee Trail, Citrus Springs).

General Information: Bring a hat, water, sunscreen, proper footwear, and lunch/snack if you like. Bug spray is always a good idea. Also have an emergency medical card(info) in your pack.
