Description: Join the Sandhill Chapter of the Florida Trail Association for a 5.7-mile hike, generally considered an easy route. This trail is in the Ross Prairie Section of the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. We will hike west on the bike/hike trail which runs 2.7 miles and ends at picnic tables for rest and snacks. Then we will hike the Florida Trail back through the berm. Very nice shaded, forest hike. This longer hike will take roughly 2 ½ hours.

General Information: Bring a hat, water, sunscreen, proper footwear, and snack if you like. Bug spray is always a good idea. Also have an emergency medical card (info) in your pack.
