Description: Join the Sandhill Chapter of the Florida Trail Association for a 4 mile hike. The Bolen Bluff Trail begins in a shaded canopy before opening up to a scenic overlook of prairie savanna that features a viewing platform…..the perfect spot to appreciate Florida’s natural, untouched landscape on Earth Day. While there is no guarantee we will encounter them, this hike is renowned for wild bison and horse sightings. This particular hike will increase the typical 3 miles to a 4 miler to include a creek bed that might be a source of water for animals during this drought.

Cautions: Can be sunny on the prairie section so wear a hat.

Fees: $2.00 per vehicle or state park annual pass
