This will be a 4 mile hike on the 376 acres of Turkey Creek Preserve. Was purchased in 2009 with funding from the Wild Spaces Public Places sales tax. The preserve encompasses many ecosystems including basin swamp, depression march, bottom land forest, hydric hammock, upland hardwood forest, blackwater streams, and sinkholes.”
Be prepared for rough or soft trails. Slight elevation changes on the trails.

Directions: From Gainesville -Drive north on NW 43 St or US 441, turn left at NW 93rd Ave. Preserve entrance is on right ~1.5 miles.

General Information: Dress to comfort and bring water/snack per preference. Prepare for a walk in the woods. May be wet areas.
