Picnic & Parade of Lights

This holiday season, let's have an out of this world celebration. We'll spend the afternoon on Shelter Island chatting, munching and 练习中文. When the sun goes down we'll watch the 55th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights (see https://sdparadeoflights.org/). RSVP by the day before the event please.
Bring a dish to share with at least 3 people (savory appetizer or main course are popular), chair to sit on while we wait for the parade, a blanket or jacket. A table will be setup to hold all the yummy food. There will be tea and beverages, plates and some disposable forks/chopsticks. Feel free to bring your own reusable utensils.
This is is a popular location, be prepared for traffic getting in and leaving the venue. There are street parking and several public parking lots in the area, and they fill up fast as in the afternoon. Strongly recommend carpooling.
