San Diego Corgi Meetup 20th Anniversary Party and Corgi Races!

Can you believe our amazing little group is 20 years old?
Join us for a paw-some celebration as the San Diego Corgi Meetup Group marks its 20th Anniversary at the Tailwag Resort! This milestone event promises a tail-wagging good time for corgi enthusiasts and their four-legged companions. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the group, come celebrate two decades of corgi camaraderie and make new furry friends at this fun and exciting event!
We will have goodie bags and a giant plush corgi as a door prize too.

Location is TailWag Resorts, located in Escondido, CA! We will have full use of Leap Land and Sniff Safari areas, to run and explore. Then at 11:00am, we'll have corgi races! Sign up at the welcome table (where you will also sign the standard liability release waiver); the number of heats will depends on the number of corgis attending, then the winner of each heat will run in the final race.
We will be asking a $10 entry fee (for the race only) to help offset the yearly dues for the Meetup Group. Cash is preferred, but we can also take Venmo. We will have medals for the winner of each heat and a trophy for the grand winner!

Our hosts ask that all pups be vaccinated against rabies and bordatella. Also, please leash your pup when moving from Leap Land to Sniff Safari. The entire resort is fenced, but the leashing between areas is an added measure of safety.

Please RSVP if you can by April 27th so our hosts can be prepared for the corgi brigade! We do know that life can be unpredictable, so feel free to come even if you forget to RSVP. The RSVP is per vehicle, due to parking limitations, so feel free to bring as many dogs/people as your car can hold. Carpooling is encouraged!
